What historic events happened on your birthday?  Put *s next to the ones you are familiar with.
What might have happened or not have happened without this event?

Ex:
1) Without the north winning the Civil War we might still have slavery today.
2) Without the death of Hitler, Europe might look very different today and have a larger German empire as a world dominant superpower.
3) Because of the invention of electricity, we have the lights that turn on & off with a switch, electic cars, cell phones, etc.
4)  Without the invention of machines, we wouldn't have factories, cars, computers, and much more.
5)  Because of the development of weapons over the years, we have bullet proof vests, nuclear bombs, and the ability to fight opponents from a vast distance.
